There are times in our life when we find ourselves out of work or in a role we do not love.  Perhaps it is time to step back and review exactly what you want to do with your career.

Sometimes we have a sense that our career isn’t right, but don’t know what we could be doing instead.  Most of us find it hard to identify what we need to do to change our situation, or to find the courage to take the leap. In these situations, it can be useful to talk to an independent person to help you articulate a way forward.

We work with you one to one to help you identify an ideal career to suit your values and character; a career which you will find fulfilling and rewarding.  We can achieve this using a range of different techniques depending on your preferences:

  • Use of psychometric questionnaires to identify character strengths
  • Use of online careers assessment tools
  • Completion of personal values and motivators exercises
  • … well as simply talking things through.

But what is it that stops us from taking the plunge and changing careers?

We also work with you to help you identify and address any fears or concerns you may have which may prevent you making change.  Whether this is financial, a fear of failure or concerns you may have about whether you will be successful, we talk with you using a cognitive behavioural approach to help you put together an action plan for change.
